Sizzling Prawns Appetizer

This is my entry for food moly - Sizzling Prawns Appetizer. I think it still needs a few finishing touches, and I haven't typed up the recipe yet.

SIZZLING PRAWNS

INGREDIENTS:
16 large raw prawns (or shrimp), in the shell
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
4 tbsp olive oil
dried crushed red chillies (to taste)
pinch of saffron

1. heat olive oil in large frying pan and stir fry the garlic and chillies for 1 minute until garlic begins to turn brown. add saffron

2. add the whole prawns and stir fry for 3-4 minutes, until well coated with the flavoured oil.

3. removed the pan from the heat and divide prawns among 4 dishes. spoon over the flavoured oil and serve immediately.

or serve in hot plate to keep the prawns sizzling hot.

remember to provide dinner napkins and an extra plate for the shells.
